About Automa EMS

Automa EMS (Energy Management System) is a modern, flexible and scalable automation solution designed for integrated control of various subsystems that incorporate energy storage systems (BESS) as part of their architecture.

Our EMS, in addition to having native control modules for the different BESS applications (BTM, FTM, Off-grid, among others), is also customizable, allowing us to contract only the algorithms and control modes that are pertinent to each project or even to customize algorithms tailored to each of our clients.

In addition to providing integrated, intelligent and highly customized local control, our solution is complemented by EMS-Cloud, a cloud-based monitoring, control and management platform. EMS-Cloud offers a number of advanced features, such as interactive dashboards and billing reports, the ability to send commands and adjust setpoints remotely, as well as monitoring alarms and events in real time, among other capabilities.



Automa EMS BTM: Consumption
Developments where BESS is used close to consumption demands. Automa EMS BTM (Behind the meter) manages the intelligent loading and unloading of the storage system with peak shaving and load shifting algorithms, among others. For example: shopping malls, supermarkets, mining companies, hospitals, meatpacking plants, among others.
Automa EMS FTM: Renewable & Storage
Developments where BESS is used in conjunction with renewable energy sources. Automa EMS FTM (In Front of the Meter) manages the intelligent charging and discharging of the storage system with algorithms that operate in conjunction with the power plant controller, taking into account periods of high irradiance, energy arbitrage and auxiliary services, among others: Solar and wind power plants.
Automa EMS MGP
Manages the intelligent loading and unloading of the storage system with algorithms that prioritize clean and renewable energy sources, among other things. EX: Microgrids to supply remote and isolated regions where conventional transmission lines are not present.

Primary microgrids
Developments in which BESS is used alongside other primary energy sources, with the aim of supplying an isolated region efficiently with reducing the emission of gases harmful to the environment.
Automa EMS MGI
Works on the intelligent loading and unloading management of the storage system with algorithms that operate in conjunction with the operation centers of the local utilities to increase the reliability and stability of the distribution networks, among others EX: Isolated circuits intended to supply the power demand of feeders in failure/maintenance at distribution substations.

Isolated microgrids
Developments in which BESS is used alongside other renewable sources and is capable of supplying energy to a specific area during outages or maintenance on conventional distribution line sections.
